I love that with the development of technologies like Serato for DJing there becomes the ability to automatically archive every record, every song you ever played in the software. Looking back through the past track listings allows you to see your growth as a musician and an artists. Anything that is measured and tracked allows for learning and growth in that area. Revisiting the old playlists also lets you see how your own taste in music evolved through the different stages of your career and life. And how those feelings were transferred to your dance floors through music.
